I have been tutoring for the past twelve years because I love it. In addition to knowing the subjects I’m teaching, I believe that patience, empathy, and a sense of humor are essential to a successful student – teacher relationship. As every student is different, all tutoring is individualized, and I consult with professional learning specialists whenever necessary.
I tutor the SAT, SAT II, ISEE, Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English (literature and writing), and all elementary school subjects. I also have significant experience working with students on study skills and organization, and I have worked extensively with students who have learning disabilities ranging from nonverbal to dyslexic types.
